The Reference Guide
The Optical Distributors and Manufacturers Association - the peak body for manufacturers, suppliers and importers of optical and ophthalmic products and services in Australia (ODMA) - acquired the Eye Talk business in 2014.
The ODMA Eye Talk Reference Guide contains a wide range of important reference information for use in practices every day and is updated quarterly to keep up with the changes and additions in the marketplace.
Eye Talk Digital
Eye Talk Digital is a companion service to the industry-standard Eye Talk Reference Guide. Subscribers can use this service to download a computer file containing the latest product and price changes. When used in conjunction with popular practice management software, this avoids the need to enter all of the price and product changes every 3 months.
Simply download the Eye Talk Digital file, then use your software (e.g., Optomate, Ocelot or Sunix Vision) to import the latest information.
By using the data codes in the Eye Talk Reference Guide, you will have instant access to the latest information.
Please note that we no longer offer issue codes. To access our online ET Digital Download Service, simply proceed to the login page and enter your username and password. If you are not already a member of ET Digital and wish to subscribe, please visit our subscription page to become a member and gain access to all the advantageous features ET Digital has to offer.
Important notice: any version of Internet Explorer won't work properly with ET Digital, as Explorer is outdated, unsupported and isn't compatible with the latest web technologies. Recommended web browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari & Microsoft Edge.
Eye Talk Web App
The Eye Talk Web App is a unique tool which allows you to access data from the Eye Talk Reference Guide and also create customised lists for each practice. The app is available as part of the Eye Talk Digital subscription.
The Digital subscription also gives access to a suite of Eye Tools, including Rx Transposition, Dioptre to Radius, Vertical Prism in Progressives, Refractive Index of Lenses, Soft Toric-Over Refraction, Distance Visual Acuity and many more.
